An eight month old desktop computer came to me, not
long after purchasing this hardware and software from
Micro 2000, with the computer not starting up, though
the lights on the front panel case were on.
After using Micro 2000's Post-Probe, a full test
report help pin-point the fault with the main "AMD"
processor, which was faulty (though the original supplier
said it was the fault of another component, which
the customer had fitted themselves!).
A full test report was printed and a copy given to
the customer, who took the computer back to the supplier
and showed them the report - apparently, about 3-4
days later their computer had a brand new AMD processor
chip fitted, "free of charge"!

Examples:

For fault finding the POST-Probe is excellent, I
had a motherboard that I was working on but it kept
doing funny things. I slotted the POST-Probe card
in and started the system straight away I could see
that there was no -12V and no +5V I changed the power
supply and regained the -12V but the +5V was still
missing. Without the POST-Probe I would have spent
hours on this and still probably not had the system
back.
I had a customers system with graphics problems -
I tested the graphics card with Micro-Scope and it
passed all the tests, not quite sure what to do next
I slotted in the post-probe and straight away it showed
that the clock was not running which affects the video
display. Without Micro-Scope and POST-Probe there,
I would have changed the graphics card.

Always put in the POST-Probe if you have the case
open if everything is ok you have lost nothing, if
it flashes up a problem you did not know about it
could save you hours

I have found that using Micro-Scope has cut the amount
of time I spend diagnosing equipment which means the
customers are happier with my service.

I had one customer who told me that he had been to
3 other pc repairers in my area with a fault on his
system which kept shutting down the computer and every
time he was told there was nothing wrong with the
hardware it was just a Trojan. He then came to me
and after running some tests on the system with Micro-Scope
I found one of his memory sticks was failing after
benchmarking it, I replaced the memory and the system
hasn't crashed since. So thanks to MICRO-SCOPE I now
have a new customer.
